On October 27th we will officially kick-off our 2012-2013 Monarch Grove season with a gala Opening Day Celebration. The grove will have its usual 10am to 4pm open hours with the following activities planned:
10:45 - Welcome by State Park officials.
11:00 - Informational talk by State Park Docent.
11:30 - Activity tables will open and will include origami, face painting, discovery and crafts. Informational booths will be manned by State Parks, Monarch Alert and the cities of Pismo Beach and Grover Beach.
2:00 - Activity tables will close and the afternoon docent talk will be given.
All are invited to join us in welcoming back our beautiful annual visitors.
