Pierfest is a special event celebrating the reopening of the historic Pismo Beach Pier after undergoing months of rehabilitation to protect and preserve our beloved pier and to ensure that it can be enjoyed by future generations. Pierfest is premium event and tickets are purchased separately.
The 72nd Annual Clam Festival offers regional food, wine & brews, music, entertainment, parade, Wine Walk, Chowder Contest, Clam Dig, Surf Contest, Clam Bake, and so much more. Tickets sell out early. Admission is free unless guest wish to participate in a premium scheduled activity. Festival entertainment will include live bands, Friday Evening Wine Walk, Beer Garden, Best Local Clam Chowder Contest, Clam Bake, Clam Dig, Family Friendly Games, Annual Clam Festival Parade, Pierfest and more.

Friday Schedule– Oct. 19 CLAM FESTIVAL WINE WALK - Join downtown Pismo Beach businesses from 5:00pm-7:30pm for the much anticipated annual Wine Walk! Visit participating businesses and enjoy a wonderful wine tasting experience, complete with a drawing at 7:30pm for all attendees. Note: you must be present to win!
Saturday Schedule - Oct. 20: Esteem Surf Co. 80’s Surf Showdown: 8:00am-4:00pm Parade at 10:00am Pismo Beach Pier Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11:30am
Pierfest VIP Celebration: 12:00pm ($40) – Come celebrate the grand reopening of the Pismo Beach Pier following an over 18 month rehabilitation project to protect the pier for years to come. This event also celebrates the recent reopening of Giuseppe’s Cucina Italiana, after a devastating fire in July 2016 forced them to close their doors for almost two years. The event will feature Giuseppe’s signature wood fired pizzas, salad, dessert bites, beer & wine for purchase from the expanded Pier Garden, and live music. This event is sure to be a sell out, so get your tickets quick!
