Over $17,000 Raised For AMP SURF

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, July 25— The 3rd Annual Wine, Waves & Beyond: Central Coast Longboard Surf Classic, May 31-June 3, was a great success. Over four days, WW & B evoked the timeless culture of surfing and the enchanting world of wine and handcrafted locally brewed beers.

 

“This has become one of the premier lifestyle events on the Central Coast,” says Mike Casola, the President of the Board of Directors and the Chief Operating Officer for the Boutique Hotel Collection. “And we are very proud to have raised $17,000 this year for Amp Surf [the Association of Amputee Surfers], and since 2009 over $42,000!

 

Amp Surf founder, Dana Cumming, says: "Because of the continued dedication of the Wine Waves and Beyond team, AmpSurf has been able to grow and share the healing power of surfing with disabled veterans and local disabled. This event highlights what a community working together can do to honor those who have served and those in need. AmpSurf looks forward to continued success and seeing the Wine Waves and Beyond event continue to grow."
