A visit this week to the Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove showed that the butterfly count on the board was holding steady at 21,000. With the weather forecast for the remainder of this week and all of next week calling for mid-sixties to low seventies temps, this appears to be a great time to visit the grove before the count starts winding down.

Also, do not forget that the California Western Monarch Day Celebration on Feb. 5, 2011 is coming. We will be posting  more info as it gets closer to the date. Need more now? Head here!
