Tomorrow is the 71st Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival Parade

The Pismo Beach Clam Festival is one of the largest annual events held in Pismo Beach, with attendance reaching more than 15,000 people for the three-day event. On Saturday morning at 10am, the  Festival Parade will be held with a record number of parade participants for this 71-year old event, with over 162 parade participants in the procession.

Where: Pismo Beach Pier Parking Lot and Surrounding Areas Admission: FREE! Unless participating in a premium scheduled activity. CLAM FESTIVAL WINE WALK:  Join downtown Pismo Beach businesses from 5:00pm-7:30pm for the much anticipated annual Wine Walk! Visit participating businesses and enjoy a wonderful wine tasting experience, complete with a drawing at 7:30pm for all attendees. Note: you must be present to win!

 

Saturday Schedule: 10:00am-6:00pm Esteem Surf Co. 80’s Surf Showdown: 8:00am-4:00pm Clam Festival Parade at 10:00am – Make sure to get there early for a good viewing location

Clam Festival Parade Route:  Staging begins in the Addie Street Lot; next, left on Cypress; next, right on Pomeroy; next, left on Dolliver; next, right on Pismo; next, right on Price; finally, ending when the procession reaches Pomeroy. Beer & Wine Stage: 11:00am-6:00pm Live Music, Kid Zone, Food Trucks, Vendors & More: 11:00am-6:00pm Best Local Clam Chowder Contest: 12:00pm-2:00pm ($15) – Local Pismo Beach restaurants will compete for the title of Best Local Clam Chowder Winner – and you get to be the judge!

Sunday Schedule: 10:00am-5:00pm Beer & Wine Stage: 11:00am-5:00pm Live Music, Kid Zone, Food Trucks, Vendors & More: 11:00am-5:00pm Clam Dig: 12:00pm-1:00pm Clam Bake: 1:30pm ($30) – Enjoy a delicious meal of little neck clams, sausage, heirloom potatoes, sweet corn, local produce, corn bread and more specially crafted and baked on the beach to perfection by Chef Casey Walcott of SeaVenture Restaurant and served within the Pismo Beach Clam Festival.
