1. Dec 11th Holiday Stroll Take a walk down Shell Beach Road and discover the 6th Annual Holiday Stroll, occurring from 5pm-8pm on December 11th. January 12th Annual Black & White Ball Throw on your nicest tux and your brand new ball gown and transport yourself for an evening of elegance with the Annual Black & White Ball, taking place on January 12th from 1 pm- 330 pm. Either hit the dance floor to the sounds of the musical entertainment of the night or indulge in finger foods and fine refreshments, as the Pismo Beach Veterans Hall presents such a special event for all to enjoy. Feb 1st California Western Monarch Day (at the Monarch Butterfly Grove) Celebrating all things Monarch, the Monarch Butterfly Grove rings in the California Western Monarch Day at the grove by inviting all to come down to Pismo State Beach and join in the fun! In the heart of their 2014-2015 season, the Monarch Butterfly Grove will have tons of activities, booths, and butterflies to go around, making this natural spectacle fun for the whole family. Not to mention, visitors can also make daily trips to the grove and see the monarchs cluster by the thousands in the local Eucalyptus trees. Learn more about the grove and its inhabitants here .
